My wife and I work completely different schedules, which can make it tough to spend time together. I usually arrive home from work just when she’s starting to wind down and prepare for bed, which doesn’t really leave us with much time together during the week. Because of that, I like to at least watch some television in the bedroom while she’s drifting asleep. While she might be asleep, just having her present is nice. However, I don’t want to wake her, but it can be a bit difficult to watch television on mute as well. That is exactly why I decided to shop around for some best headphones watching tv.
I wanted to find the best wireless TV headphones out there. My television doesn’t have a headphone jack, and even if it did, I really didn’t want a 10 foot wire running from the set to my head. I logged online and searched for the best wireless headphone for TV which is when I came about the Jabra REVO wireless Bluetooth stereo headphones. At first I wasn’t sure if I’d like the on-ear design of the headphones, but I am more of an over-ear kind of guy, but the headphones are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn, and I’m glad I made the purchase. after locating the headphones on Amazon.
The Jabra REVO Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones come in a nice, matt black finish. I decided to go with this option instead of one of the larger, over-ear designs simply because I didn’t want something super bulky while sitting in bed. It also proved extremely desirable as it had a Bluetooth enabled feature, so I could pair it up with my television and have the audio from the TV directly beamed to my headphones. Most of the other over-ear options were going to cost me at least $100 more for the headphones. There are plenty of in-ear headphones, but I’ve made the mistake of falling asleep once with in-ear headphones and it tends to hurt. I ended up waking up in the middle of the night with a nice pinch in my ear.
Upon receiving the Jabra REVO headphones in the mail I decided to try them out in order to make sure it was comfortable.
Truth be told, these headphones are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn. The ear pieces were designed out of memory foam, so it was able to fit directly along my ear, but without applying too much pressure. this way, it helped buffer out the noise of the headphones, all while allowing me to enjoy the volume
from my television show or sporting game.
I’ve found when I pair other headset devices through Bluetooth, I have to go all the way back through the control section of the device in order to search for Bluetooth features, and then repair the device and jump through a few more hoops before the equipment actually works. This did not prove the case with the Jabra REVO though. The headset has an easy button I simply need to push and it instantly connects with the TV.
The audio, obviously, is one of the most important variables of any sort of headphone. Larger headphones I find usually give better bass and treble due to the larger speaker. I have not been disappointed with the headphones, as not only is the entire audio spectrum clear, but the headphones don’t rattle when a heavy bass sounds, and because of the way the headphones fit against my ears, the sound isn’t a problem when my wife is sleeping.
Thanks to the durability of the headphones and the overall quality of the design, I’m extremely happy that I purchased this headset for my needs.
